The following terms and conditions apply to bookings.
1. Our Agreement
Information on this website is provided by Great4Hotels Limited. Bookings made
via this website are accepted by Great4Hotels Limited as booking agents, your
contract being with the supplier concerned (eg the hotel). In order to make a
booking on this website you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the
legal right and ability to enter into this agreement and to use this website in
accordance with the Terms and Conditions herein.
2. Prices and Payment
All hotel prices are in UK Pounds Sterling (£) per person per night, inclusive
of local taxes at the present rate. Board arrangements vary from hotel to hotel
and are confirmed at the time of booking. Where Breakfast is included this is
normally continental breakfast. The prices shown on the website are for
guidance only until you enter our secure server when the rates shown are
guaranteed, subject to reasonableness with regard to any rates shown which are
clearly incorrect. A full price including any special discounts will be given
before you confirm your booking, which you may or may not accept. We guarantee
that once we have accepted your booking we will not change the price of the
accommodation booked unless there is a change in local taxes or as a result of
government action. Great4Hotels reserves the right to amend any price at any
time. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
3. Child Prices and Policies
Policies and prices for children vary from hotel to hotel and are confirmed at
the time of requesting a booking. Unless otherwise specified, the following
definitions apply to children:
a. All persons under the age of 2 are defined as infants.
b. All persons over the age of 2 and under the age of 12 are defined as
children.
c. All persons aged 13 or over are defined as adults.
4. Changes Made by You
If you wish to change your booking, you can do so by emailing us at
admin@Great4Hotels.Com or calling us on
0871 472 0604. Amendments made directly with the hotel are not effective.
If you wish to make an amendment to your booking, we will try our best to meet
your requirements. An amendment fee of £30 per booking will be charged unless
the new booking is of a higher value in which case no amendment fee will be
charged.
Please note that any amendment made within 3 days of travel will be classed as
a cancellation and cancellation charges will apply.
5. Cancellations made by You
If you wish to cancel your booking, you can do so by emailing us at
admin@Great4Hotels.Com or calling us on
0871 472 0604. If you call you must then also send an email. We will then
reconfirm the cancellation by email. Cancellations made directly with the hotel
are not effective.
If you cancel your booking before 12 noon (local time in London, UK) 4 or more
days prior to arrival at your hotel or apartment, a cancellation charge of one
night's stay will apply. We will not be responsible for any indirect losses or
other out of pocket expenses incurred.
If you cancel your booking after 12 noon (local time in London, UK) fewer than
4 days prior to arrival at your hotel or apartment, a cancellation fee
equivalent to the full cost will be charged and no refund is possible. Once
cancelled a booking cannot be reinstated or amended.
Any refunds due will be paid within 7 days of the cancellation using the same
credit or debit card used for the original transaction. If you wish to use a
different method for the refund, eg cheque or bank transfer, this request must
be made in writing and a further £30 administration fee will be charged.
6. Amendments and Cancellations Made by Great4Hotels
We try hard to avoid making any changes to your booking arrangements. However,
we do not own or operate any of the accommodation provided and cannot control
or prevent changes. We therefore reserve the right to change your accommodation
at any time.
In the event that we have to change your booking to a different accommodation,
you will have the opportunity to accept the new accommodation or receive a 100%
refund on all monies paid to us. Our liability will be limited to the
accommodation booked and we will not be responsible for any indirect losses or
out of pocket expenses incurred. No compensation whatsoever is payable.
7. If You Have a Complaint
If you have a complaint during your stay, you must bring it to the attention of
the hotelier as soon as possible. If you are unable to resolve the problem
locally, you must obtain written confirmation of the complaint from the
hotelier supported by photographs and/or visible proof of the complaint and
follow this up in writing to us within 28 days of your departure from the
hotel. Correspondence should be addressed to our Customer Services Department
at 30 Clarewood Court, Seymour Place, London W1H 2NL. If you fail to follow
this procedure, we cannot accept liability for any claim. We will endeavour to
resolve your dispute and reply within 21 days. Please allow this time for a
response, as we normally have to make contact with the supplier concerned to
gather information.
8. Limitation of Liability
Great4Hotels' liability to you and/or any third party are in all circumstances
limited to the lesser of either the amount paid by you to Great4Hotels for the
accommodation provided or £500
9. Accuracy of Information
Great4Hotels and its suppliers have taken reasonable care to ensure that the
content of the website including all information is accurate. The hotel content
is provided from information supplied by the hotels which are listed and by any
third party suppliers. Great4Hotels publishes such information in good faith.
Great4Hotels cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in such
information, nor can liability be accepted for changes to facilities which are
not notified to Great4Hotels by the hotelier or supplier.
In particular star ratings do not necessarily relate to those awarded by other
organisations, but are designed solely to help you choose between different
standards of accommodation.
Great4Hotels endeavours to keep accurate and up-to-date all information
contained on this website but cannot be responsible for errors, omissions or
misleading information contained in the hotel descriptions. These descriptions
or information may include errors.
10. Force Majeure
If as a result of Force Majeure, Great4Hotels is obliged to alter, cancel or
curtail a booking, you are not entitled to claim compensation for any loss
arising as a consequence of such action. The term 'Force Majeure' includes but
is not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, fire and any other destruction
of any accommodation booked, riots, war, civil commotion, terrorism, strikes,
industrial action, exercise of legislative, municipal, military or other
authority, or any other reason beyond the control of Great4Hotels.
11. Privacy
Great4Hotels treats with care the privacy of its customers. We do not sell,
rent or loan your data to any third party. The only data, which we collect,
relates to your purchase via this website, you sending an enquiry to purchase
or for further information to us, or your participation in one of our surveys
or competitions.
The data which you supply can include but is not limited to your name, address,
email and telephone details, your credit card used and details of any bookings
made.
Great4Hotels will use any data gathered to issue regular email promotions or
special offers. These communications will only be sent to you if you have
chosen to receive them. If you do not want to receive these communications,
please send an email to
admin@Great4Hotels.Com with the word
unsubscribe in the subject line. Ensure that you are sending the email from the
same address that was used when making your request or purchase to ensure that
you do not receive any further offers from Great4Hotels.
12. Intellectual Property
All copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in and
relating to this website are owned by or licensed to Great4Hotels. The content
and data on the website may not be reproduced, sold, published, transferred
without the prior written consent of Great4Hotels.
13. General
Great4Hotels reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time
without prior notice. This agreement cannot be altered without prior
consultation with Great4Hotels.
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or
unenforceable, then the remainder of the Terms and Conditions will not be
affected but will remain valid and enforceable.
All disputes between yourself and us will be governed by English law and are
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
